Who I am..... |
As a mixed media artist I have the pleasure of making eclectic art. Whatever my mood at the time, I can go with the flow.
I am most known for my work with rubber stamps and die cuts, but those are only foundations. I play with glass, fabric, wood, paper, metal, inks, paints, and more.
I also love to incorporate texture in my work. My Wizard die cut machine, is a favorite tool for this!
I have had the pleasure of designing for, writing for, teaching for or just experimenting for many wonderful companies and zines such as:
Spellbinders, Red-Castle, Hearts in Touch, Enchanted Ink, Innovative Stamp Creations, Terryfic Times, SSReflections ezine, Cyberstampers, Putting on the Ritz, Stubby Stampers, Evolving Images, Hammonds Group, Inc.(aka Scor-It) and more. I have been published in Van Stamp News and Expression Magazine. I have demoed for Marco’s and Spellbinders, and taught at various stamp and scrap book stores. I also owned my own business called Artistic Extras. I closed it so I can get back to playing!
I am still in love with my husband of 30+ years. We have had a hand in raising lots of children, whether biologically, fostering or adopted. We have two grand children as well. We also have our beloved white Pomeranian named Maisie Grace. God is good!
We are a Christian family and enjoy our Church family and friends.
